Welcome

We are a small family operated farm  in two divisions

in Western  part of Uganda ,kasansa) ssembabule district  ankole masaka corridor .And Ruti Mbarara Kabale /Rwanda Road Uganda

We have been growing our farm for the past many years,

trying to grow and raise as much of our own food as possible on our land.

 We have produced our own poultry, eggs, fruits and vegetables.

Honey bees , bricks ,forestry,just to mention but a few .

Many of the meals that we prepare at home contain products that have come from our own farm.

We Previously  officially became a farm and have started selling our products to the local community,

companies that export agricultural products

We supply dry fruits ( Mbowa equatorial Banana Coins ) to the known company that exports agric products

• Fruits of the Nile located in Jinja Uganda.
• Mbowa Growzone is a supplier of fresh bananas to Bio Uganda .
• We are suppliers  of fresh and dry fruits to many local businesses in the country especially the western part.

Supermarkets and open markets plus the purchases for home Consumption by people straight from our farm(home).

Manure -home made for better healthy produce.

We have more than two green houses at the farm that help with the nursery bed before all the plants are taken to the main Garden..

Due to the dry land /hot weather we irrigate and mulch for better produce .

SOLAR DRIERS are used to dry the fruits

The farm has more than 10 solar driers that are used to dry the banana coins ,pumpkins ,Pawpaws etc

 It is our dream to continue to expand our farm globally exporting our very own products and also provide an option for those that want to purchase locally grown products.

Mbowa Grow Zone Center's main vision is to become a well known distributor of organic products fruits , vegetables and livestock products in the whole world.

POULTRY

Ours is mainly pastured poultry.  We raise Broilers in pastured pens.  These broilers are raised outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine on a diet of grass, bugs and all natural grain.  Our pens are moved daily to ensure that the chickens always have a patch of fresh clean grass to eat and scratch.  This method of raising poultry produces the best tasting chicken possible.

Our Broilers can be purchased at our home with advance notice both at sembabule(kasansa)  and Mbarara(Ruti))We also sell fresh free range eggs

AGROFORESTRY

We Plant trees

Mbowa Growzone is known for producing good quality tree products

Firewood in the area to local people , schools , hotels and many others

• We Sell trees for building very many companies and individuals have purchased tree logs from us to build.

• Electricity poles the Uganda electricity board before it came to be UMEME we were one of the distributors of the poles .. just a brief history we have in this field

Timber companies contact mbowa Growzone for purchases , the makers of bee hives are good clients too .. we also have a preserved home for bees (pure organic bee honey)

BRICK LAYING/MAKING

The brick laying / making project is the oldest of all projects at the farm

We are known for producing and distributing bricks in the western part Of the country.

Mbowa Growzone centre's most survival has been centered most in brick laying before other projects like the poultry and  the rest set In.

The brick laying / making project is situated near the well known river in Ankole river rwizi in Ruti mbarara kabale / Rwanda Road .. same river supplies water to make the bricks .,

The bricks are of good quality, carefully mounded by the employees / casual workers (( bricks are made manually ))

No machines involved at the moment thou our aim is to purchase a brick laying machine one day .

Mbowa Grow Zone has provided employment to very many people( brick layers ) in the western part of the country.

The project is run on more than 4( four ) acres of Land.

In the country like

• Kampala international University Kansanga and the Western branch in ishaka Bushenyi.Due to the good  quality of well moulded pure clay bricks Kiu had to order bricks to build the university.

• Mbowa Grow Zone Bricks were used to build the well know 5 star Hotel in the western part of the country  Pelican Hotel
• Lake view Hotel , very many schools in the region have supported mbowa Growzone CENTER, Mbarara institute ,kabateline memorial School mbarara ,unique students Academy to mention but a few

Mr Mbowa Stephen

Mr Mbowa Stephen is the main vision bearer.

the father of Mbowa Growzone, Mdalpbs Fashions, seeko center, Morgan's, mbowa banana coins all the companies  operating in different parts of the world.

Mr Mbowa Stephene is a well known Famer in the country especially in the western part of the country

He is the one who started the known / popular farm in Ssembabule Ssembeguya estates the neighboring farm to the mbowa Growzone in Sembabule which is managed by his Son Mr Sam Lyazi Mbowa.

Mr Mbowa Stephen has a history in this field , ran a hotel

GOOD MORNING MBOWA STEPHENE

Which was a attached to a grocery store  in the heart of Ankole in the 1970' and early 80's

He owned a timber shop making timber products ,Wood products  chairs , beds etc and teaching the youth wood work in the area.

Mr Mbowa Stephene resides at his home farm in mbarara lives with his Wife Mrs Madrine Mbowa known as QUEEN plus their Grand Children and employees who mbowa Growzone center has become their home.

Take a trip to their beautiful green palace full of fresh green natural feel, tree houses, beautiful tree sheds, relax at the river bank with the Growzone family Visit and take a tour and  share a  cup of coffee with Mr Mbowa Stephene at their River side Cafe near the river Rwizi and their Brick laying field in Ruti  Uganda.
